Good stay, after check in

by kozzer90

Stay was good, Champions restaurant and bar was convenient and the breakfast there in the morning was good. My issue came when I was checking in. I have stayed at MANY Marriott properties all over the country. I was traveling on business and work for a state government agency and thus, reserved with the government rate. The girl at the front desk told me that I had to work for a federal agency to get the government rate. We went round and round about it and she finally went to go ask her manager. When she came back she said her manager was in a meeting but they would "give me the rate this time" and would I like for the manager to call me to which I said yes. Never got that call. Anyway, not a huge deal, but frustrating.

Hotel was fine but had problem at Champion's

by psneblet

I ordered a caesar salad in Champion's. According to the menu it was to come with cheese and croutons as well as dressing. When I received my salad, all I got was a bowl of dry lettuce. No dressing, no cheese, no croutons. Upon finally getting the waitress' attention, she brought me dressing. Never received the cheese or croutons. Another person at my table ordered a caesar as well and had the same exact experience, just a bowl of dry lettuce. Seriously, what restaurant just brings dry lettuce for a salad with nothing on it and think's it's okay?? Neither salad was ordered with any special instructions.
