I would not recommend this Hilton! The Marriott is MUCH more acomadating for business travelers!

My husband and I are business travelers. We stayed at this Hilton hotel and requested late checkout due to a late business meeting. We were told by the manager, that it could only be until 2:00 because they need the room.
At all the Marriott hotels that we have stayed in over the years, if you are a gold member or above they ALWAYS accommodate late checkout.
We are beyond gold members with Hilton. Also, upon viewing this Hilton’s booking website, it had plenty of available rooms where if they wanted to, could have accommodated our late checkout request.
Lesson learned, book Marriott first ..Hilton..Is the last resort!

Management is awful!

I traveled to the Batavia/Darien area to attend a wedding. I had a room as part of the wedding block of rooms. Some of the wedding attendees arrived on Friday, while others arrived on Saturday, after the wedding. The mother of the groom confirmed that my room would be waiting for me on Saturday with the front desk staff on Friday, only to find that they had sold my room to other patrons, and, to top it off, the hotel was fully-booked, as were the others in the area. The young man at the desk was a new employee who called his manager to discuss our situation somewhere around 11PM, only to have him tell me "I'm sorry but we have no more rooms, there is nothing we can do". After further conversation, we were then told that I was a no-show, even though they had confirmation I was coming, the room was already paid for, the wedding was Saturday afternoon, and the many of the wedding attendees were booked for Saturday night, as well, yet, I was a no-show so they sold my room out from under me. We asked to talk with the manager when the employee called him, but he refused to talk with us, saying he would talk to us in the morning when he arrived, even though I had no room to stay in. I ended up sleeping on the pull out couch of the groom's mother's room. In the morning the manager was very rude and unwilling to take any responsibility for the error or provide any incentive to encourage us to come back as an apology, which after this experience, even though the hotel accomodations appeared to be very nice, I will not ever encourage anyone to stay at this particular hotel, all because of the manager, and not just for how we were treated, but how he hung out his new employee to fry.
