Hilton is a name synonymous with convenience, cleanliness and value, and that’s exactly what you’ll find at their Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego/Del Mar location.
Each of the property’s 120 studio, one- and two-bedroom suites is spacious, and features king or queen beds. A pullout sofa bed is also included in each room, and one- and two-bedroom suites come with separate living spaces and sleeping areas.
You’ll also find complimentary high-speed Internet access in each room, along with TV’s with premium cable channels. Perhaps most impressive of all is the fully equipped kitchens found in each room, complete with granite countertops and cabinets, utensils, dishwashers, two-burner stoves, microwaves and full-size refrigerators.
Guests at the Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego-Del Mar also enjoy a complimentary full hot breakfast daily. Monday through Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the hotel also rewards guests with complimentary dinner and drinks. If you miss dinner or are looking for a little variety, check out the hotel’s onsite restaurant, Bistro 39, which serves bistro classics with a unique California twist, dreamed up by world-class Executive Chef, Larry DiFolco.
If the heated swimming pool and 24-hour fitness room aren’t enough to keep the kids at bay, worry not — within 20 miles of the hotel you’ll find several popular beaches, SeaWorld San Diego, Old Town Historic Park, La Jolla Cove, LEGOLAND, the Gaslamp District, Birch Aquarium and more.

Friendly staff and nice room with kitchen. Located very close to I-5/I-805 access. Breakfast is average, but the evening happy hour was excellent, i.e., good food and drink Monday - Thursday. If you are working south of the Del Mar location traffic conditions are excellent for morning/evening traffic flow. Plus - NO parking fee.
The location is decent, but from the road you do not see Homewood Suites, you see the Garden Inn. I had to drive around in order to find hotel the first time. Reserved room with online checkin, but got a different room. After switching rooms, digital key did not work. Hard key lost access twice.
