A Beautiful Stay!

by 4journey

This was our third visit to Buca di Bacco and our stay was delightful as always. The hotel reception/concierge team are helpful and welcoming. The rooms are scrupulously clean well maintained. The breakfast buffet is lovely, fresh and served by a gracious and enjoyable service team. And, given the beach location, the ocean view rooms have a terrific view! Thanks for a lovely visit; we will be back!

Still Thinking of This Place 3 Years Later!

Not sure how I missed reviewing this when I was actually there but hubby and I loved our 5-day stay. The hotel is old but beautifully updated. Our room was spotless and comfortable. We had a balcony facing the ocean and I was able to take photos of the sunset over the coastline. The beach is literally outside the back door. It was central to everything we wanted to do on the Amalfi Coast and the staff bent over backwards to ensure we had whatever we needed, be it a bag of ice for my broken finger or a private driver to help us avoid another bus trip. The breakfast is awesome and any coffee drink you can think of, cold or hot, they can make! My husband participated in the cooking class and had a great time, both learning to cook and meeting other "foodies" from various countries. The hallways smelled so good that before I left I purchased the same oil they used to make it smell that way. Heaven! I would not hesitate to return or recommend this establishment to other travelers. I only wish they had sister hotels in all the cities we want to visit. [We stayed here in August 2016 but TripAdvisor does not allow me to select a date that far back. Still, I think the hotel is worth the review.]
