We checked into our room in the afternoon. There was a hole in the wall to the outdoors, through which dirt had blown onto the bed. We were told it would be addressed, so went out. We called twice during the afternoon for a status report and were told it had been rectified. On our return around 11 pm, there was an air conditioner in the hole, with open space around it that let in loud street noises and dirt. The linens had not been changed. We again requested a room change and were told none were available. We were provided with sheets with which to change our own linens. Multiple phone calls later, after being denied access to a manager, we were changed to a different room. We were charged full price because "your room was changed"
Great location with the subway and shops just outside your door. Unfortunately, the hotel is old and run down and needs lots of renovation to make it up to standard. The rooms are an okay size, but the beds are very hard and uncomfortable and old. There is a little fridge in the room, no kitchen facilities no dining room, just a small reception at the entrance. There is one elevator for the whole hotel, so you use a lot of time waiting for it to come. The staff are polite and helpful.
