Overview

Part of the Japanese-owned Okura hotel chain, this lovely hotel in the heart of Kyoto is close to everything. There are Teppanyaki, Japanese and Chinese restaurants onsite, as well as shopping. Families appreciate that the bathtubs are separated from the shower room, so several people can get ready at the same time.

Superior service and great location

by Rajesh T

Never having stayed at his chain before, admittedly I was a little apprehensive. It was a fabulous sized room with a great view of the distant hills. Well located ( Gion is a brisk 10 minute walk). What made our stay outstanding is the service. In Every interaction staff provided exceptional experience. Highly recommended.

Great night in Kyoto

by Businesstraveller03

During the recent rugby world cup, my wife and I spent 2 days in beautiful Kyoto, and stayed in the Nikko Princess.
The room was large and well furnished, very clean as per everything in Japan. The decor was a little dated more 1990's than 2000's. But that did not distract from a great night sleep.
Large walk in shower was appreciated after a day walking the sights.
Easy walking distance to several sights and just 200 yards from the bus stop. A great place to base your trip to Kyoto
