Good pet facility

Quick one night trip, just passing through on our way to Canada. Booked the smallest least expensive room which was fine but didn’t realize how small it would be. Traveling with two dogs (and two dog crates) so it was a tight squeeze. But the window seat area was nice and large. Surprised to see robes in the room, not something usually available in this class hotel. However I didn’t do my research well enough to realize the hotel didn’t have an elevator or a microwave or fridge in the room. We arrived late in the day and just wanted to eat a quick dinner in the room. Luckily we had sandwich fixings with us.

Front desk staff was great, helped us with the bags up the stairs. Gave us a room away from the young girls event that was happening in the meeting room area. Next time would request a room facing the back, even set away from the highway there is road noise on the front.

Best part for us was the private hotel dog park, well lighting even late at night so our girls could romp after a day cooped up in the car.

Complimentary breakfast was okay, the lobby seating area was pleasant.

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on a drive through but would probably choose a different room, or a different hotel, if we were staying longer.

great place to stay!

We have stayed at Hotel Ruby twice for the holidays. It is close to everything in the Sandpoint area as well as skiing on the mountain. Nice breakfast choices for a light meal. Friendly staff. It has not been crowded when we were there at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
