Poor customer service

by aksd4

I checked in after midnight due to a delayed flight from the west coast. By the time I settled in and got to sleep it was after 1 am and I had a 7 am meeting. At 2:45 I was startled from my sleep by someone who entered the room with a key and turned on the lights. I yelled at him and he started screaming 'oh my good who's in room?' repeatedly and stormed off. Now, under normal circumstances I would have called the front desk and read them the riot act, but mind you I had a precious few hours to try and sleep. So when I check out and was asked about my stay, I let them know what happened, left my card with someone who claimed to be the manager and asked him to follow up. Keep in mind I was in a rush. Two weeks have passed and no word back and you can't figure out who the hell to contact from their web site. I cannot recommend against using this hotel strongly enough. Even a 2 star hotel or motel would have better customer service and would make things right if they ruined two guests' experiences.

Other: room was not particularly clean or updated, especially for the $500+ cost.
