First Time Visitor But Not Last Time!

by 130Shauna

I was in Eugene for a conference and pulled up to the hotel only to realize I had not booked this hotel, I booked The Inn on the Fifth in Naples, Florida! They were gracious and helpful and easily found me a room (and a welcome glass of wine). They have theme rooms—mine was the wine room, which was pretty good and added a regional flavor. There was no bath tub, but the shower was modern and the towels were fluffy. My fireplace never worked and they came up and made a lukewarm effort at starting it. I got a room with a balcony, but it looked over a parking lot. Fortunately, it was not the season for sitting on a balcony. They did have some fun features—one could order a Pendleton blanket from their “blanket menu.” It would arrive via your butler pantry. It was quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed their fitness room, which was empty every time I used it and which had a great variety of well-maintained equipment. It is valet parking. Be prepared for that. (I am always embarrassed when I don’t have cash). They have a lovely French restaurant across the way, a tasting room next door and a fun luxury goods market right there. It’s a charming area.

Elegant boutique hotel with stellar customer service

Amazing customer service from the moment that you check-in and are offered a complimentary glass of wine or beer. They even picked us up at the airport (you need to schedule in advance).

Hotel is elegant and well decorated. Love some of the small features, like the butler pantry so that room service can be delivered without even having to open the door. Everything is very well thought out and well done, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Wonderful romantic weekend.

Location is excellent, walkable to everywhere.

I'd definitely stay here again.
