Reviews

might be okay after renovation is done

by Kapudo

They are renovating the hotel yet failed to disclose this when I booked in the spring. The noise was bad. The breakfast was subpar, and an unknown substance was on the orange juice dispenser spout. The same tongs were used for bacon and to grab bread. The lobby store closes at some point but does not post hours, yet the lobby is open 24/7.

Great decent priced hotel with Mid-century Vintage vibe.

On the North end of State this hotel offers a great mix of value and convenience in a market of overpriced mediocre hotels. Having stayed at some of the best hotels internationally I just can’t stomach some of the other hotels in SB. This one feels boutique and comfortable and is a short Uber ride or walk to downtown. Be aware they do allow dogs so if your allergic or nervous this may be an issue. (Improvement would be to have limits on animals and rooms that are completely animal free 100% of the time, this deterred us this year due to my partners allergies) No views really but the rooms and common areas are very nice and the the pool area is pleasant. staff were good and simple breakfast was nice option. Also a decent deli/convenience store right next door. I would happily return.
