My husband and I enjoyed our little getaway at the Ledges Hotel. Our arrival was met by a frazzled front desk employee but after we were taken to our room, it was a relaxing few days. The restaurant and bar was a pleasant surprise and they were able to give us a table even though the front desk did not make our reservation. Jennifer was an excellent server as well as drink maker. The singer that night was very enjoyable and the bar area very cozy.
Would never come back. Management is irresponsible and rude. It is hit or miss if you get someone who shouldn't be allowed of the house or an angel. But the bad absolutely out weigh the good. It's on a beautiful property but parking is inconvenient and borderline dangerous. We had our wedding here and we got double booked and were forced to concede for the larger wedding despite our booking months earlier. The restaurant downstairs has good food but prepare to wait. Also, if you are seated in the bar area, the tables are knee high and the dining room has a view opposite the falls, so don't bother sitting there. Josie was a star but that was about where the good at Glass stopped. Cocoon, the coffeehouse, has good food but do not trust the bakery for any cake that you have special expectations for. They aren't very good and look like middle school birthday cakes. The rooms in ledges are dated and congested. Our front door barely stayed shut. I would suggest any where but ledges. Please, I'm really understating my disappointment here, go to silver birches or wood loch if your staying, and for a good meal see Jamie at Fairview Cafe!
