Overview

Los Angeles International Airport is one of the largest and coolest airports for families to fly into. Planes land closely overhead and close to the city’s nearby beaches. Getting to Los Angeles’ and Orange County’s best attractions from LAX is very easy, with the highway system also close by. Because of the proximity to the highways, beaches and attractions, many visitors to Los Angeles choose to stay near the airport, and the Marriott here is one very comfortable hotel from which families can elect to stay. A free shuttle from the airport, less than 2 miles away, is provided, and the hotel is on the Ocean Express Beach Trolley stop. This trolley makes its way to the hotel every 30 minutes to take hotel guests to nearby Manhattan Beach. The hotel is also home to a resort-style swimming pool, as well as two onsite restaurants and a sports bar. From JW’s Steakhouse to the California cuisine found at Latitude 33 to the all-American Champions Sports Bar, not to mention an onsite Starbucks, guests of this Marriott don’t need to leave the property!

Room options for guests include standard kings or two double beds. Pool view rooms come at a premium, and larger king Corner rooms provides a studio suite option with sofa bed and a king bed. Concierge Level rooms include complimentary breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages for up to four room guests in a private lounge. A Continental and a buffet breakfast are available for purchase each day, and coin-operated laundry facilities are available for guest use.

Your average Marriott

by CarolinaMom0526

I can't say anything bad about this Marriott, but I have been in better. The beds were comfy and the shower worked great. We got our Starbucks every morning which I love. However, I have stayed in others that just went above and beyond. This one was just your average typical Marriott. Would most likely stay again.

Basic and Dated Marriott Hotel

by LisaJLosAngeles

This is an older hotel that is long past its glory days. Locals know but tourists don't. Hotel is very large and busy and impersonal. Rooms are basic and sparse. No amenities or luxury whatsoever at this property. Internet was DOWN my entire stay. Parking in their ghetto, unattended surface lot is extremely expensive.

Gold Elite status not acknowledged. I had. basic room on the 9th floor with a view of the parking lot.
