We stayed here last night as part of a birthday celebration and I could not fault it. Our room was spacious, well designed and very clean! The staff were really helpful and they even surprised us with a little birthday treat. We also had a treatment at the spa (definitely recommend booking in advance). The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from old street station and there are loads of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Great stay, highly recommend.

M by Montcalm is a lovely hotel, a short walk from Old Street tube station.
Despite the reception being very busy (it looked like there might have been a wedding party booked for the day we were there) checking in was fast and straightforward.
Our room was clean, well equipped and very omfortable. The room was quiet despite the hotel's central London location, and the bed was much more comfortable than most hotel beds I have experienced.
We had a lovely breakfast, my wife upgraded to a full English, I stuck to the continental, both were perfect.
Every member staff we had contact with was courteous and answered our questions without hesitation
The only issue we had occured a few days after the stay, discovering that we had been charged for some things from the mini-bar when we had not used that facility. After speaking to the hotel this matter was resolved relatively quickly, with a full refund and a sincere apology.
