Two night stay, splendid retro motor court

by gadawgs8

People were fabulous, cottage clean, old school, units unlocked aired out with windows open. If you get a unit that looks across a meadow to the highway there will be some noise. We close the doors and windows and use a noise maker. Breakfast of pastries, coffee, and juice. Priced right. No complaints from me.

Perfect stay for a weekend of biking

by Amy S

My husband and I traveled to Freeport to take part in the Bikes and Beers ride sponsored by Maine Beer Company this weekend. We knew we wanted a casual place to stay because we had our bikes with us so we figured a cabin in the woods would be perfect.
We stayed in cabin 18 and it was absolutely perfect. We didn't have to worry about our bikes since we were able to park right outside the door. This place is rustic but very clean and I had amazing sleep. We could hear the highway in the distance but it was nothing disruptive or loud.
We plan to come back and bring our dog with us next time. No need to spend a ton of money on a hotel when this gem is right down the road from anything we want to do in Freeport.
Also, Maine Beer Company is gorgeous and such a fabulous brewery. Definitely make time to check it out if you're in the area.
