We stayed at Comfort Suites in Moab while visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We had a queen "suite" with two queen beds and a partial partition marking a separate area with a sofa. That extra space gave us room to sit while we planned our days or relaxed in the evening. The sink/toilet/tub were behind a door which gave welcomed privacy. The beds were comfortable with both firm and soft pillows--the soft pillow was a welcome luxury! As a bonus, there were adequate outlets near the bed for recharging phones and other devices.
The lobby was clean. The pool was small and always filled with loud kids so it didn't entice us. The breakfast was typical hotel fare with stale bread and a waffle maker; the breakfast area was small and crowded, further adding to our morning frustration.
Motel prices in Moab are high in general, though current construction of new motels might force more competition and lower rates. We were satisfied with our room at Comfort Suites but will look harder for a cheaper room on our next visit.
We had a family room with a sofa bed that was really very uncomfortable. At the reception, during the check-in, they asked, by mistake, for three times the pre-authorization on my credit card and blocked my palfond for ten days . This caused me a serious damage during an "on-the road" trip in the States.
