At Mystic Dunes, families stay in one- to three-bedroom villas with breakfast bars and fully-equipped kitchens. Villas often contain sleeper sofas to accommodate more people. Mystic Dunes is only two-miles away from Walt Disney World, offering discount packages and complimentary shuttle service to the theme parks. This hotel caters to families by providing many fun activities, spacious villas and family-friendly meals. There’s an 18-hole golf course for parents and another miniature golf course for kids at the resort. Also, four pools dot the premises with waterslides and private cabanas. Rent bicycles and explore the outer reaches of the resort or attend some of the planned children’s activities. When you work up an appetite, check out Kenzie’s in the clubhouse. It offers a casual atmosphere with a wide variety of menu items. Pizza Hut Express is also available, and groceries can be sent to your room, as well.

Amazing 1 bedroom with full kitchen. Room is very clean and perfect for a any type of stay. Close to everything. The feeling like you are home is perfection. Complete tranquility. Friendly staff, safe and convenient. A variety of things to do just within the community as well as surrounding areas. Great for a couple, solo or family vacation.
I’ll start off my saying this resort was great in a sense that it worked for exactly what we wanted: large enough for our family and close to the parks. It met its expectations on that end no problem. Nothing else more to say other than we give that part a 10/10. Clean, large and functionable.
In saying that, DO NOT say yes to the Diamond Resort presentation they offer you during checkin. No matter how good the gift sounds, just say no. 90 minutes? Try 4 HOURS LATER! What a horrible Morning. Even though we were promised a no commitment, no pushy sales presentation. Now, the actual sit down in a group presentation we did with the rep from Diamond was great. He was funny and made us all comfortable and we laughed a lot! But the Time Share salespeople - wow. Just so pushy and telling us things like “if you don’t buy into this timeshare you’ll never get to go anywhere in life on vacation”. No thanks, we told them 100 times we couldn’t afford it...I don’t know how many more times we could’ve said it. They just don’t listen. One vulcher finishes then another swoops in still trying to sell. It was a horrible way to spend a morning, and if we hadn’t wasted 4 hours already I was getting up and walking out. We did eventually get our promised gift ($150 Amex gift card) but was it worth it? No. My favourite part was the THIRD salesman who came over, speaking not so softy to us, telling us a bogus story of how our original sales lady really liked us, and felt a connection. She can only offer 3 discounts a year and, as long as we don’t tell anyone this, she could offer it to us (as we’re in a room filled with people and he’s talking so loud someone down the street would’ve heard him). Such bull, so fake and so wrong.
Stay at this resort if you like the villa feel and to be close to all of the amenities. Just don’t fall into the trap that we did. We didn’t let it ruin our vacation but it still was something we’d never ever let happen again!
