Overview

This inn, which dates back to the late 1700s, is a rare find-a luxurious retreat with authentic country charm, at a budget-friendly price. Rooms look like they jumped out of a North Country home design catalog, with cheery quilts and rocking chairs and antiques tucked into corners. While primarily a couple’s retreat, the B&B also accommodates families with a one two-room suite that can sleep up to six people in two queens, a twin, and a full-size pullout. The inn also has several rooms with twin beds, which can be combined with a queen room to make a family suite.

Situated halfway between Lake Sunapee and Lake Winnipesaukee, at the foot of Ragged Mountain and Mount Kearsage State Park, the location will appeal equally to those who love lakes and mountains. The inn also has a number of common areas full of board games, cards, and other diversions as well as a large indoor pool area with hot tub-just the thing to soothe sore muscles after a strenuous day on the slopes.

A hidden Gem

by NNS22

We just stayed at the NH Mountain Inn after visiting the NH Craftmans Fair this weekend. We were pleasantly surprised!! This is a charming inn filled with interesting and beautiful decor. The linens were soft and the bathroom amenities first class!! We were treated to a wonderful home made breakfast and friendly staff.
Patrick and Pam are great!! Very attentive and welcoming. I would recommend that you give this inn a try if you are in the area. It is a hidden gem and we will surely be back!!

A beautiful spot !

I recently stayed here attending a family wedding at nearby Ragged Mountain. The location was ideal, only a few from where the festivities took place. There were family as well as wedding party staying at the Inn. Needless to say, it was a busy few days but Patrick and Pam were fantastic, making sure everyone had what they needed . A wonderful breakfast was served each morning. The rooms are quaint and all unique. The scenery is spectacular. I highly recommend a visit for fun and relaxation !
