Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado will be one of the many national parks celebrating the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary. Its only lodging available inside the park, Far View Lodge, will open just before National Park Week with new attractions and features for guests.

Reopening April 14, Far View Lodge converted all of its standard rooms to Kiva Rooms, which feature more luxurious touches and private balconies. Its Metate Room, which offered a breakfast buffet in the past, will now offer an a la carte breakfast menu. Its dining will also focus on family fun from Memorial Day to Labor Day with a Farm to Table program every Friday and Saturday night, as well as a lunch BBQ at Spruce Tree Terrace Thursdays through Mondays.

The lodge is also offering a new special to Colorado residents: starting rates from $69 per night in a Kiva room, or $85 per night in a Kiva Deluxe.
