Reviews

Tried based on reviews...Very nice

by Michael O

Without reservations but based on TA reviews we walked in and were able to score a room for a night but stayed 3. As others have stated, the place is owned by a couple who run the place and they are really wonderful.
Due to heavy reservations we got moved the second day to a unit down by the river which we were not fans of at all primarily because of noisy neighbors on both sides and the bed not meeting my partner's needs for her tender back. The owner moved us back to the room we had the first night for the 3rd day. We were very happy the way she handled that. She was quite gracious.
Breakfast...wow! It's simple but handled so very well. The dining area is cute as can be and they keep it clean.
We highly recommend this wonderful place. If you're not happy please talk to the owners. If you're not being ridiculous they'll get you straightened out.

Nothing Special

We stayed here for three nights. Inn is old but comfortable. The breakfast was not good and we even brought our own the second day there. The pool and jacuzzi looked great even though we did not use. They also had a sauna which was a nice touch. The river that runs behind the hotel is very pretty. The staff in the breakfast room could be friendlier. We told them good morning and they just stared at us.
