Overview

The Olde Tavern Motel & Inn is a reasonably priced motel in the Orleans area of Cape Cod. As a family owned and operated establishment for the past 30 years, the property’s management understands how important family-friendly accommodations are.

The four-acre property consists of 30 rooms of varying styles and a long-running common deck overlooking the property’s spacious back yard, as well as a heated swimming pool for the kids.

Each room features a refrigerator, extended digital cable TV, complimentary HBO movie package, air conditioning and complimentary continental breakfast. Community microwaves are available for guest use, and cribs and cots, hairdryers, irons, and coffeemakers are available upon request.

The motel is in an ideal location, being only a short walk to downtown Orleans and only a few miles from Nauset Beach, Skaket Beach and Nickerson National Park. More athletic guests might consider a spirited ride down the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a bike trail providing excellent access to Route 6A and Orleans Center. Has some good points

by RasheaNY

I liked that this motel has a back deck overlooking a nice lawn/wooded area. There are screen doors on both the front and back doors, in addition to regular doors, of course. The windows have screens too. The TV has very nice cable channel selections. The room has a mini-fridge and Keurig. There is a complimentary "continental breakfast". It is quite laughable, though the coffee is good. Breakfast choices were cold cereal, toast or a bagel. So don't go for the breakfast. Parking is a little tight and the sight line for oncoming traffic getting into and out of the place is partially obscured by shrubbery. There was no lighted signage at night, which I thought was odd.

Just what I needed

I was visiting friends in Provincetown and just could not afford accommodations in Ptown. Olde Tavern Inn, although quite a distance from my friends, was affordable and clean. Very pleasant staff .. loved the deck off the room .. it is not a Marriott but I did not expect it to be .. I have to say that the mattresses could be replaced .. VERY HARD is being nice ..
Would return if visiting the area again ..
