Located across the Cape Cod Bay from Plymouth, this renovated and repurposed Cape Cod style home is a beautiful B&B. Multiple beaches and local restaurants are within walking distance. Rooms four and five are appropriate for families with one double bed and the option to add up to one rollaway bed for a total of three guests. Since this B&B is very small, families can book two rooms and still feel close to each other. After enjoying local amenities like the whale watching tours, museums, and lighthouses, guests can come back to the hotel to relax at the outdoor pool. Full concierge services are available to guests trying to decide what to do in the area.

Gloria was nice, but a bit demanding for a travel lodge type place. Old decor and no air conditioning combined with feeling like she's watching your comings and goings kind of made me uncomfortable. Weren't allowed to leave our own porch light on, but instead were told that she'd come do it later. No television. Yes, it's cheap and the beach is close, but I'd probably not stay again. Positive: delicious breakfast coffee cake. Negative: a bit like Bates Motel.
Beach Plum Motor lodge is located in an excellent location in the Cape Cod area. Close to superb beaches and close to nice villages.
We have stayed in rooms 1&2. These are ideal for a family, they have a connecting bathroom. We loved the place. It's almost like someone placed you in an old movie. Not comparable to any modern hotel. Here you get a special flair, personal touch and love to details you do not find very often. We felt immediately very welcome.
Beds are comfortable, rooms are very clean. the pools was good for a relaxing break and breakfast was home made and very tasty.
The bathroom is rather small and there is no air condition (but a fan).
Gloria is a lovely host and very open person, she makes you feel home the moment you arrive. She gave us valuable recommendations for our stay, not to forget the interesting chats we had during breakfast. Breakfast time until 11 am, this is real holidays! When we were about to check out a thunderstorm came up and we were able to stay longer than check out time until travel was safe again.
We would have loved to spend more time at Beach Plum Motor Lodge. I can only recommend this little gem, but definitely not to someone who cannot enjoy this special atmosphere.
There is two minor things that could for me personally be improved. As Germans we prefer 'real' cutlery and plates vs plastic/cardboard ones, same time this was standard at almost every place we stayed at during our trip to the US/Canada. And the curtains could have been a bit darker for me so the sun does not wake me up too early in the morning.
If we ever have a chance to come back to Eastham/Cap Cod we will definitely stay here!
