We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay - but was very sad to see it has not been kept up inside or out as in previous visits . The room smelled of disinfectant / cleaner . Decor was dated . Lsndscaping was not kept up as before . Had to step up into room - difficult bringing in luggage .
Mattress was comfortable - room size was good .
Free breakfast used to be outstanding - now very basic and prepackaged - before home made muffins .
Location is the highlight - close to Nauset Light Beach .
Hoping improvements will happen at this great location motel .
My friends and I stayed in this hotel 3-rd year in a row. We love it! The rooms are spacious and more and more getting renovated. It is not a luxury place, but very sufficient. Rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a fridge and microwave, enough space to put all your things, the sink is outside of the bathroom, which is very convenient. It is located right on the bike trail, we always take out bicycles with us and 5 minutes from the Cook's Brook beach, where the water is usually warm. The only con of the beaches- you need to watch for low/high tide. The breakfast is basic , but sufficient and we always bring something extra for ourselves and coffee is available all day long. Very good value for the money for this part of the Cape. Hope to get there next year too.
