The pacific palace is very affordable and it isn’t a stand alone hotel. When you pay for one hotel, whether it’s oceano, pacific or Luna, you have access to all the hotels. You can go to their pools, their restaurants, their bars pretty much everything except the rooms. I wasn’t expecting this at all and all the locations are very lovely. The beach and the pool are warm and my only complaint I guess is how crowded everything gets but that’s just a part of the Mazatlan culture. Also if you are trying to get some sleep early, good luck cause the bands on the beach will continue to play until about 1 in the morning maybe longer but overall very nice hotel(s)
The hotel was new and rooms fresh. Large rooms and a large bathroom. Rooms with full size fridge, and microwave available. The location is great, but spend the extra for an ocean view. Street side has 2 bars across the street with loud music. The lounge is nice and open but with a roof, giving some protection from the sun/wind.
Once we finally had an assigned cleaner, she did a great job but the first week no one was assigned and we ended up with another rooms used towels, no water and garbage not removed. Once brought to receptions attention, we got new towels but no more follow upon apology from the management. The pools were very busy with family’s especially on the weekends but there were other pools in Neighbouring hotels we could use.
The elevators were very busy but as we were on the 2nd floor, we could take the stairs.
