The hotel is located just 10 minutes south of the Melville Hall airport. Pagua Bay House Oceanfront Cabanas is one of Dominica’s newest boutique hotels. The overall aesthetic goal was to combine a modern design theme with island heritage and Caribbean flare. The hotel pays homage to its banana plantation roots with rooms that resemble the banana processing sheds. All rooms are equipped with a clean, modern design and upscale amenities.
The owners take great pride in their resort and are on hand for a variety of needs. There are six cabanas, each with ocean views and upscale amenities, including Wi-Fi. Choose between A/C or enjoy being caressed by the natural, cool sea breeze. Onsite there is a restaurant and bar, poolside lounge and concierge to help plan excursions and activities. Room choices include king beds, luxury bedding, flat screen TV and cable with premium movie channels, safes, daily cleaning, free Wi-Fi and transformer and adapters available. Complimentary amenities include a coffeemaker, kettle, hair dryer, yoga mat, beach chair and coordination of rental of cars.

We came to Dominica to visit family and enjoy the incredible natural beauty of this unique island. We stayed in Cabana 2 at Pagua Bay and found it to be an ideal choice - the room is charming and upscale, the service staff was excellent, often going out of their way to accommodate, and the food is delicious! We look forward to our next stay at Pagua.
Pagua Bay is a very special place.
We received probably the best hospitality ever. We were always asked if we had plans for the next day and helped us get it set up. Prior to our trip, the Manager had already helped us get set up with a car (Dominica drives on the left side), a guide for Boiling Lake and a pick up from the airport.
The location is also ideal for exploring the island. The location is just 10 minutes south from the airport. You can drive to the north/northeast in less than an hour and to Roseau in about an hour.
If you want both a relaxing place to stay and a location to jumpstart your visit to island, this is the right place.
Food and drinks are excellent.
