Palm Canyon is set in Palm Springs, offering guests perfect weather and many attractions, like golf courses and local events. Families can stay in one- to three-bedroom villas, complete with kitchens, private bedrooms and living and dining areas. The grounds present large rock formations with cascading waterfalls. It’ll be hard to drag your kids away from the pool with huge waterslides. For those who prefer indoor activities, there is a game room and an indoor basketball court. The Canyon Spa is in the main building, offering body wraps, massages and facials.

My wife and I were on our first visit to Palm Springs and stayed here as part of a package with Diamond Resorts. It was easy to find and a short drive from the airport with plenty of parking. The facility was very good. Everything is in good repair. The mattress was one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The pool is excellent a real draw for families with children. The staff was super friendly, especially Robert at the pool bar. My only complaints are that the pool bar closes at 6:00 and that the shower head setting produces water that is prickly and can not be adjusted to another setting.
Positives: 1) Exceeded my expectations in cleanliness. GREAT pool area with 2 slides and a spa under the waterfall. 2)Gave a 25 dollar voucher to use at the pool eating area.
Negatives: 1) I missed the 30 dollar a night resort fee in the fine print. We stayed 2 nights and it was an extra 60 bucks I didn't expect. It probably applies to the voucher they gave. 2) Something makes noise in our room at night every 15 minutes and I'm not sure what it is. It woke me up like 4 times last night and it creeks like we are sleeping on a wooden ship.
