Do Not Stay Here

by Te M

This resort (hardly) is so old and tired, the old part where we stayed should be condemned. The newer section is also dirty and not well maintained at all.
Our twin double bed room was derelict. A/C remote did not work, it was freezing in there. The treated pine slat beds with an old mattress and yellowed sheets were terrible. There were no blankets on the beds and like I said the room was freezing, fortunately we managed to get a remote for the A/C and some very thin blankets. Access card to room didn’t work, even after being reprogrammed twice. The external door was broken and did not lock, luckily because that was how we had to access the room. After the first day they removed all our towels and did not replace them. Called housekeeping twice and managed to eventually get two towels for the four of us, no bath mat or face washers or hands towels.

Staff were mostly very nice, breakfast was ordinary, espresso coffee was good but cost extra. Refused to eat there after day one breakfast experience.

Pool was filthy, I don’t think it had been cleaned for days.

It’s a shame, this resort is in a great location, it’s just a disaster. If you must stay in Pacific Harbour, stay down the road, do not stay here. We have been to many resorts in the Coral Coast of Fiji, this is without doubt the worst.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This place is terrible! We were given a standard room which was dirty and filled with mould as were the other rooms in this area. The bedding was dirty and it was so bad! We were reluctantly shifted to the newer area which was pretty average as well but better than the standard rooms. No blankets on beds. The hallways were dirty also. The food was gross and either over cooked or not cooked enough and it took forever to arrive. So overpriced! The worse thing was we had buffet breakfast and there was a fly in the maple syrup! Would hate to think what the kitchen looks like. Very disorganised place which needs more staff, I feel sorry for the staff as they clearly run on minimum numbers. Only good thing is the beach is nice. Pool was also dirty. This place ruined our holiday!
