Quick Cabo trip

by N4304RFtima

We had a long weekend trip to Cabo and stayed at Playa Grande Resort. The hotel is really nice and we were not disappointed.

The rooms are done well. Ours had a bedroom, two full baths, sitting area, full kitchen and two balconies. It was all very comfortable.

We walked into town and stopped at a Mexican market to buy breakfast foods and snacks. It was really nice to cook our own breakfasts in the morning.

We had one dinner on site which was ok. And walked into town for dinner a few times. You are at 10 minutes walk to the marina that has some restaurants, but probably at least double that to the area with nicer restaurants.

The poolside drinks were good and we spent all our time at the “adult” pool since we were on a kid break. If you like lively then the other pools would be your thing.

You definitely can not swim in the ocean. It’s not allowed and there was a guard shooing people away from the serf.

There is also a rooftop pool with incredible views at the sister hotel. So don’t miss that for a swim or drinks.

My only disappointment was that the pool side taco shack mixes shrimp and the other meats when cooking so people with allergies can’t eat there. But the pool side nachos we’re yummy.

Great Resort Great location

by dcpinvpro

We stayed for a wk; food was great, as was the service- so accommodating; structure was gorgeous. Mexican fiesta night was a lot of fun; dancers and band were very good and later night mc- Roberto was quick witted and very engaging. The rest of the entertainers Salma, Jordan, Thomas made the show a great night of family fun. So glad we stayed till the end. Gorgeous location, looking forward to rest of our stay.
