No phones in rooms makes it possibly dangerous to be there

by MarkDS416

The location is excellent, the hotel is clean and comfortable, check-in experience was fine, so in these respects you can stay there with ease. However, if you think you may ever, in an emergency, need to call reception over a phone in your room, forget it, because there are none. Management in its infinite foolishness stripped them all out - what were they smoking when they made that decision. Because of the risk to health and safety this could cause under adverse conditions, I cannot recommend any one concerned about health and safety risks to stay here.

Very convenient for us

by Spwells2002

Spent a couple of nights here whilst on a trip to a conference in London. Our train was into St Pancras, but because of engineering works we went home from Kings Cross. Brilliantly sited for both London termini it is a typical Premier Inn offering, perfectly adequate for a couple of nights stay. Our room was clean and perfectly proportioned with a good shower. Whilst we were there the hotel was completely quiet away from the lobby and restaurant. We only ate breakfast which was again what we have come to expect from the brand. The staff we met were very good, special mention goes to Natalie who sorted out the storage of our suitcase for the last day and greeted us when we returned to fetch it. If we need to be in that area of London again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.
