Firstly, the resort is brilliant from an aesthetic and facility point of view. It looks exactly as the pictures depict.

There were a few snags during the first day or two of my stay, however after discussing my concerns with the duty manager, all issues were resolved without requiring a constant follow up. The resort has excellent managers, and the staff should take a page out of this book, in terms of guest relations.

I must commend the duty manager Iqbal Goolfees, his service and attention to detail was impeccable. He is one of the key reasons that I would return to Preskil!.

From a facility point of view, the beach, pool and watersports are fantastic. The all inclusive package does include a lot of the water activities.
The rooms are of an excellent standard, and there are 3 restaurants at the resort, with great meals, catering to a variety of tastes.

Great area of the island, as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas
such as Port Louis, and Grand Baie, thus ensuring a proper getaway.

We stayed at this resort, all inclusive, to celebrate my 50th birthday and a great decision it was. From the moment we arrived the service we received was outstanding. The rooms are spacious and lovely decorated and we had a beautiful view of the lagoon. We ate in all 3 restaurants, there was always plenty of choice in the Rendezvous which is a buffet style in pleasant surroundings. The Mosiac and the 1810 a la carte restaurants were excellent also and we thought the food was delicious. Preskil Island Resort is situated next to the most beautiful lagoon and the whole resort is very picturesque. There are numerous watersport activities included. We did waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and there are also pedalos and water pedal bikes. All in great condition and supervised by a great team. Special thanks to all the staff who made our holiday very special. They really can’t do enough for you and are extremely pleasant and mannerly. Thank you also to the bar management and their team for the amazing cocktails especially Rajen and Teepso and also Juliana in Guest Relations and Mahen who continuously ensured our holiday needs were met. You have a gem of a paradise here and we hope we can return again one day.
