This roadside New Hampshire motel is a step back in time to the era of 1950s auto-touring, with a retro sign that harkens to a simpler era of fresh air and rustic tranquility (the “profile” refers to the rock formation called the Old Man in the Mountain, which collapsed in a rockslide in 2003.) The interior, however, has been updated to the modern day with clean, comfortable rooms with pillowtop mattresses and fine quality linens on the beds. The rooms include lots of creature comforts, including microwave, refrigerator, and range-tops in some rooms.
Moreover, the owners go out of their way to make children feel special, with fresh-baked cookies on arrival and a hot chocolate bar before bed. The property also has an outdoor heated pool and a scavenger hunt to keep the little ones busy. It is located just a few miles from Bretton Woods and Cannon ski areas, as well as plenty of hiking trails accessible right from the property.

Stayed 1 night in room 9 (double queen room). The room was clean and spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Jodi was very nice and helpful, she really made me feel welcomed when we arrived. I only saw Mike to check out, but he was also very nice. Just a short drive from the Cog. We were extremely pleased and will definitely stay here again when we go back to visit Mount Washington. Best value in the area! Thank you.
The Location is perfect, the rooms were so well put together, and clean and at a good price. The people were professional and friendly, very accommodating I would highly recommend this place. They have a pool and fireplace, The view was beautiful from dawn to dusk overlooking the mountains. There are plenty of things to do nearby. We cant wait to go next year!
