Average Red Roof

by Kevin C

Room was clean and comfortable but had that stale smoke smell that you find in a room. Outside was questionable with other people in area and beside you. Was not comfortable being there. Could tell that some people were living there with excess items staged outside in front of rooms. Also was told the top rooms were full but did not see anyone up there and not a lot of cars there on the parking lot.

Very old and run down

I knew we were taking a chance staying here but it was a football weekend and rooms were hard to get. The check-in was fine and the staff member was very friendly and helpful. She asked us where we would like to be placed. The room was clean and smelled strongly of cleaning spray-obviously done to mask the mildew smell. The bathroom was small and the paint on the ceiling above the shower was peeling. This alone kept me from rating this an average. I inspected the bed and it was free of bugs but the matress was very worn and sunk to one side from over use. You get what you pay for and we knew it going in so I am not upset.
