stolen items

by MalcolmX91

I left my watch at the property during my stay and called the same day to have them locate my watch. I called back the same day to report my watch was stolen and they reassured me that my watch was at the front desk and I can come pick it up. I called a week or two later (due to my brother passing away during that time) and no one has any history of my watch being found or located at all. talked to everybody at the front desk including the general manager and was told my watch is no longer at the desk! this property steals guest items and act like nothing ever happened!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE! i am in talks with their corporate office and BBB! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE! THEY ARE THIEF'S!!!!!!

Cheap is cheap

You get what you pay for is all I can say. I wasn’t expecting a Hilton at this price but it’s definitely a no-frills motel. The room appears clean and has fresh paint but it is small. It smells a little too much of cleaning products but there was no smoke smell. There is no hairdryer so come prepared if you need one. I had issues with our door. The seal is totally loose and you can see outside through the crack. I wondered about bugs coming in through the crack. The bedspread is getting tattered also. The AC is loud and while it cooled it didn’t take care of humidity. On the positive side, it was quiet, the bed was good and it’s conveniently located near the interstate.
The evening front desk fellow was courteous but very busy as he was the only one checking folks in and answering the phone. When I went to check out in the morning, I asked to have the $1.50 safe fee removed and was told it had been. I could tell it hadn’t been and pointed that out and she insisted it was. I wasn’t going to quibble about $1.50 with someone who obviously doesn’t know how to read a bill so I let it go. That’s probably how they get the extra $1.50 on all the rooms.
For an overnight stay it was ok but next time I will look elsewhere. P
