Better than last time

by morr4April

We stayed here esrlier this year and were disappointed. This time we experienced a much better stay. The floor was now a lamate so much cleaner and better smelling than the carpet. Almost everything was working well. The thermostat on the wall heater was not accurate but we were able to keep the room comfortable. Sam was at the desk and wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory. A good vslue for the money. We will stay here again when in the area.

This Property Needs a Serious Upgrade but Can't Beat the Price

by OldSalt558

This very tired property is in even worse shape than when I was here last. A total rehab or a wrecking ball are the two best answers. I took a very early shower and by the time the water got warm enough to be comfortable I was almost done with my shower. The free breakfast was spartan with few choices. But now I'll say why I liked it and why it isn't two stars instead of three.

There is a Life Insurance commercial airing now that describes the "3 P's" as "price, price and price". With this motel's location added in, a hard bargain to turn down.

The room was clean, although with a soft bed and worn carpet. And it had thoughtful touches like a nightstand with USB ports, easy to access outlets, and push button lighting. The desk had similar helpful and accessible outlets and switches. A dorm fridge and budget model flat screen TV were provided. The free wi-fi worked fine.

The desk clerks were both efficient and somewhat friendly, with check in and out painless. The evening clerk helped me find services like ice and soft drinks.

Would I stay there again? Maybe.
