My husband and I stayed here overnight on our way home from a visit around California so as to be close to the airport (LAX) without being at the airport. So glad we did! The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. This isn’t a big high rise like at the airport, so they have more time to pay attention to guests at checkin and during their stay. Our room overlooked the pool which we didn’t take advantage of this trip, but we plan to on our next visit. We loved the complimentary breakfast buffet in the bright lobby and then we arranged a late checkout since we had a late flight out of LAX. We were able to easily walk down to the marina and beach as there is a nice bike/walking path that runs right in front of the hotel. (Bikes are also available to rent.) The front desk graciously offered to hold our bags as our flight was delayed twice and we were able to relax on their rooftop lounge area. Our Uber driver told us the Rodondo Beach / South Bay Area is a hidden gem and provides an easy drive to LAX. We will be back!

This was our first time staying here and we will definitely return. Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted us with a big smile - and was most helpful. The beds were very comfortable and nothing disturbed our sleep. Having robes was a nice touch. Parking was plentiful and it was great to walk to the pier after a nice breakfast. Highly recommended!
