Great Location!

The location was great! All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Had a nice balcony and great access to the canal. The nightly receptions were nice. Within walking distance to anything needed during my trip. It is kind of outdated, but was told by the staff they are in process of renovating.

Was in Indianapolis to visit daughter, at a conference. She recommended staying here. Great location, right on the canal - walked the canal pathway morning and night. Room was very spacious, almost like a suite. Well supplied kitchenette. Included breakfast was simply, but okay - first day, with bacon and more choices was far better. Monday to Wednesday they have a cocktail hour - great idea, especially after a long day (driving or work) - would recommend they continue this through the whole week. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and efficient - good sign of a good hotel. Only negative comment was someone took something from the pool area the first day we were there, so they closed the pool for the next 3 days we stayed (I'm sure what ever was taken could have been replaced quickly in a city the size of Indianapolis).
