I don't like the property, but it is well run

by Aristippe77

This hotel is a converted motel. It is a series of separate converted motel units which are dark and not very nice. However, the hotel is well run. It is clean, the linens are in very good shape, the breakfast is set up well (okay, I am a sucker for biscuits and sausage and gravy).

I don't like the location, the rooms, the layout, etc., and probably will not come back here. However, I think Marriott should promote this manager to a better, larger property.

Amazingly Well-Run Hotel

by GeraldWW2

I am Marriott Titanium Elite and I stay 75 nights a year at Marriott properties, including some of the very best hotels in the world, in London, in Honolulu, in Rio de Janeiro. And they all could learn something from how well this little dinky hotel in Richmond is run. From the minute we walked in the door, to the service we received, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the quality of the breakfast, to the moment we checked out and they had our receipt already printed-out and ready to hand to us, this place was ship shape. We only stayed one night, Saturday, Oct. 19, and I will definitely return here, the next time I am in Richmond. Whoever manages this place should be promoted up the line to a premier hotel. I could name a few that should have this level of service.
