Read the negative reviews here and on TripAdvisor. I never take the time to write reviews but my husband and I are so miffed we wasted so much money at this resort that does such a good job of "looking good" on its website. We were nuts ... more enough to pay $2500 a night for lousy food, WAY overpriced, sub-par activities and terribly coordinated service. The largely young (high turnover) staff are sweet and try hard, but the ownership/management should be deeply ashamed. I'm mystified by the good reviews. And don't get me started on how shamelessly un-green this resort is. Plastic bottles abound, no recycling, everyone has to get picked up by a shuttle to go to the required lunch restaurant, 10 minutes on the freeway away from their tent! What?! It was camping in taxi dispatch land. Furnishings are cheap, made to look good. $600 for an average 3-hr rafting trip for 2 kids 2 adults with cheese cubes and processed salami at the end? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Read the negative reviews and trust them. Don't leave feeling taken like we do.
