Terrible unfriendly service - very poor for 5* Hotel

by Bowders

From our arrival at reception to the experience at the restaurant and The Curtain Club unfortunately the service has been very poor and unfriendly. On arrival after check-in time our room was not available and they tried to offer a twin room opposed to a king as reserved and Neil at Checkin was less than helpful. We were travelling as a group of 3 couples and when we had a drink in the evening at Curtains Bar found the staff very unhelpful at find a table to the extent of being rude, on one occasion being told to wait in the lobby as we could not get table together and not allowed to order a drink! Having stayed at many 5* hotels around the world, the Ritz Berlin has certainly been the poorest on service. Would certainly not stay again.

Fabulous Hotel

by davlew14

We had to move to Ritz Carlton after our usual hotel (Waldorf Astoria) was unable to accommodate us due to a Congress nearby.
However, we were very happy with first impressions and Ritz Carlton was a worthy substitute!
Rooms are very and clean and spacious.
Fitness centre also excellent, especially the treadmills and exercise bikes, all latest equipment.
Bar next to reception was very good, especially the live piano performances.
Breakfast and business lunch in Pott restaurant also worthy of a 5 star hotel.
Staff are super friendly.
Highly recommended!
