Overlooking the Napa River in downtown Napa, the River Terrace Inn is a relaxing and luxurious property. Currently undergoing an expansion project to add new restaurants and redesign the property in 2017, the hotel provides accommodations in Village Side or River Side rooms. One or two queen beds or king bed rooms feature free Wi-Fi, with some rooms offering a balcony. Guests can enjoy complimentary bike rentals, as well as complimentary afternoon wine hour from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the lobby.

Great locale, comfortable rooms

Nice location, sizeable and comfortable patio by quiet river walk, comfortable beds and clean rooms & lobby areas. Bar drinks are pricey but not uncommon for rest of the hotel bars in the area. Decent complimentary breakfast but don't look for hot foods.

Location not great and service a shocker

Given the price of this hotel, I expected better
For a country that prides itself on good customer service, this was definitely not it
From the check-in experience through appalling dinner service, breakfast and check-out I can honestly say I will not visit again
Location was disappointing and in my view mis-represented by the hotel website
Rooms was good, but definitely DON'T eat in the restaurant
