Pleasant base camp for Napa.

by RonDog82

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights while visiting wineries. It is easy to fine & being downtown meant being close to restaurants & the Ox Bow Market. Our arrival was met with a pleasant check-in process. Our only disappointment was the size of the room. Also, even though we had a river view, it was blocked by trees. We requested an upgrade, but no suites were available for the first night. The lady at the front desk was very nice & said she would review all of the suites to look for cancellations or changes. She indicated that she would contact us the following morning, but we did not hear from them until late afternoon when we had settled back into our room for the second night. We chose not to move for the last night. The hotel was very nice giving us a bottle of wine & free breakfast.
Enough of that. All of the staff from the bellmen, servers, valets were very excellent. We ate breakfast two mornings & the food was good & plentiful. We were in & out a lot & the valets were outstanding & fast getting our car out. The lobby area was open & well kept.

Thank You Westin Verasa
