As in the name, this hotel runs right along the Deschutes River. Be sure to ask for a room on the river as more than half of the room are on the parking lot. We had one of the river front rooms. In the afternoon and morning, inspite of November cool weather, we walked along the river and enjoyed our morning coffee/tea in the chairs on the patio. The rooms are large and very comfortable. We did not take advantage of the restaurant or bar, but they looked very nice. The pool complex also looked great.
At check-in we were warmly greeted and given our room. We stayed on the second floor in a riverside room. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Sitting on our balcony and enjoying the river was very peaceful and relaxing. During our stay we were able to visit the restaurant and bar at different times. There are lovely river views from inside the restaurant and bar area. There is outside seating, as well. The service was great. The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and sightseeing. All the staff we encountered during our stay were helpful and eager to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend Riverhouse!
