Wasn’t at the hotel for very long but I enjoyed my stay. Remodeled lobby and rooms. Excellent location that puts you walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, Fort Mason, Pier 39 and the Embarcadero.
The lobby area is large and the bar offers a nice ambiance to socialize. One of the things I enjoyed most was the sheltered driveway of the hotel which allows for safe and easy pick up and drop offs.
My room wasn’t cheap but hard to find anything nice in SF for much less than $300/night. Would certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to SF.
The room was small and unclean. There was no working outlet in the bathroom and both tv and hairdryer were not working when we arrived. We had two engineers in the room to get it all working and we were there just two nights. We requested an extra blanket that we got after the third request and on the second night. It had bubble gum wad inside. The front desk was rude and condescending. I might never stay in another Marriott over this stay.
