My experience was such that I would not stay at any other place when I visit San Ignacio, the hospitality, the service and the food in the running W restaurant was the best I have had in San Ignacio. I personally would rate San Ignacio hotel five star.

Great Location and Beautiful Hotel.

Wow ... loved the San Ignacio Resort Hotel. Perfect location, lush jungle on one side and only an 8 minute walk to town (we took a taxi back as its a little steep ... only $2.50 USD). The hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were so friendly and very helpful. The concierge did a great job organizing our transfer to and from the hotel and also a few excursions (Xunantunich and Cahal Pech are so close). They gave us lots of advice and information before our trip which really helped everything go smoothly. Sitting on the terrace of the Running W and watching the wildlife around you, especially the toucans was amazing. We ate all our meals at the Running W. Lots of variety and everything was delicious and so fresh. All staff were so good, but Daisy, Cruz and Ted really helped our trip be more memorable. Would highly recommend and definitely would return!
