WHat a perfect location

by Fred B

The motel is the farthest south right next to the national park campground. The sea is right next to the motel and the national park programs in the southwest harbor campground are less than a 5 minute drive. The breakfast is nice and there is a notice board outside that tells of all sea conditions.

The owner and all staff are wonderfully informative and friendly. We stayed here for our 40th anniversary and had a more than wonderful time. All of Mount Desert Island is accessable from this motel.

Stop Snoring!!!!!

by Wolfway23

Omg. Okay, so this place is really nice and best of all super clean! Towels and linen smell fresh. Very clean property. But if your neighbor is a snorer or loud talker, FORGET getting any sleep. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the next room’s conversation. AND, I could hear their television. Worse of all was the snoring. It was loud and disgusting and bubbly and snory and super gross and completely annoying to hear. I literally could hear each raspy snore breath. Uggghhhhhhh. Whyyyyyyy????
