Situated between downtown Bend and the Old Mill District, guests have plenty of opportunities to walk and explore Bend by foot when staying at this hotel that opened in 2017. The Springhill Suites building was once part of the actual milling lumber process years ago and the hotel’s owners made sure to incorporate pieces of that into the property’s decor. Make sure to check out the artwork by the front desk showing what the property once looked like.
The modern lobby gives off a rustic vibe and appears as more of a gathering space than a typical hotel lobby. Kids will love the indoor pool and adults will love hanging by the fireplace in the lobby or on the outdoor patio during a stay here.

It just works. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, comfortable lobby, good breakfast, for instance HBO on the hotel TV, pool and gym, great location. Interior design is a matter of taste: I love it. It seems to integrate with and be respectful of the Bend area look and feel. If you stay here you will not be disappointed - not a paid review :)
My only regret is we arrived late and left early the next morning. What a beautiful hotel and location. The Old Mill district and the river walk is a short walk away. This is definitely the best SpringHill Suites we have stayed at. Very welcoming lobby and common area, with a bar. Our room was spacious and clean.
Families will love spending time at the indoor pool, even on a cold winter day. Lounge chairs surround the pool deck area and pool towels are provided. The pool is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Guests will find a complimentary, hot breakfast buffet each morning in the onsite restaurant/bar space. Items like cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon and fruit are offered at breakfast from 6 to 9 a.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. on weekends. Coffee and water are available here all day, too.
This open-concept gathering space offers bar service from 5 to 10 p.m. Light food fare, like flatbread pizza and nachos, is also available. Families can hang out here at the high-top tables or on the outdoor patio space.

The Art of Smart Timing
This hotel is busiest in the summer months, when families tend to spend the most time in Bend.
The Bend-Redmond Municipal Airport is less than 30 minutes away from this resort. Downtown Bend is a 10-minute walk and Mount Bachelor Ski Village is about 30 minutes away.
Located within walking distance to both downtown Bend and the Old Mill District, it is easy to maneuver around town when staying here. However, a vehicle is needed to explore much of Bend.
For Mom and Dad
Adults will love to grab a local craft beer at The Boardroom Lobby Bar and relax after a day of travel.
