Built in 1899, the sumptuous Stafford’s Perry is a stroll back through time and gracious hospitality. Families who want to hit the bike or hiking trails need only to walk steps away and they’ve hit the trails. The lakefront is within walking distance as well as numerous shops and dining options in Petoskey’s historic Gaslight district. For rainy days, check out the hotel’s snug library, stocked with games, books and magazines.

We stayed here this past weekend for a weekend getaway. Let me start by saying it was beyond charming. The front desk staff was so friendly. The decor is gorgeous and the history in this building was so impressive. Our room was cozy and decorated nicely. The breakfast vouchers were a nice touch and the food was phenomenal. The hotel was within walking distance of shopping and all the restaurants we ate at. We will definitely be back!
The Stafford Perry is a great stay for a girls weekend. There is local shopping and quaint restaurants. Would recommend the shoppers package which provides coupons for town and hotel discounts. Stayed on the 4th floor which has been renovated.
