We booked a room online at a decent rate but upon check in were told that we had to pay a much higher rate. Still we decided to extend our stay by one night for convenience and expected to pay the same rate we were checked in at. When i confirmed with front desk I found that we had been charged much more and when I complained I was told this was the special rate and they couldn't make any changes to the rates. The rate I wanted was the one advertised on Wyndham's website, I wasn't asking for anything crazy. I then felt like I was being grilled by the front desk staff asking why we were staying at the hotel and even going as far as "why are you so hot, what are you doing that is making you sweat like that?" I'm not sure what he was implying but I was not happy and will never stay here again.

You get what you pay for. Upon driving up we thought "ok, this won't be so bad"...We walked in and immediately knew we messed up. It smelled terrible. The people at check in were very nice. No problems there. Drove around back to enter closer to our room, opened the door and was knocked even further back by the smell. It was so bad. Got to our extremely humid & sticky room and thought we'd just make the best of it. Took off our shoes and the floor was damp. We stayed two nights because it was already paid for, but we told ourselves never again. It was a last min trip with last minute hotel options...so we got what we paid for!
