Hidden Gem!

by J. H

Wow! What a place! The public rooms of this " Lodge" are breathtaking! Soaring ceilings with enormous 2 way fireplaces. The dining room is beautiful and shares the open fireplace. There is also a tavern available for after hours dining which is casual and the pub style food is great.
Our room (#77) was in the D section of the Lodge and had a glorious view of the mountains! The room itself was lovely and decorated in a rustic style with a king bed, cable TV, coffee maker, hair dryer and all the amenities you expect to receive in an upscale hotel. We requested extra pillows which were delivered promptly to our room.
Could not have asked for a nicer experience.

Great buffet restaurant

by Tom B

Located in the Unicoi State Park, the Lodge and restaurant is an older but well maintained property. They had German buffet for our visit and best German food we had in Helen. Very reasonable cost as well. Highly recommend and will return any time in area.
