When it comes to family vacations, this Lake Winnipesauke motel resort is in many ways the best of both worlds. It has been continually renovated and modernized, yet retains and old-school motel feel-and while it is only a short walk away from all of the excitement and fun of family-friendly Weirs Beach, it is still out-of-the-way and quiet, offering a nice respite when needed.
A dozen motel rooms have been recently updated with two new full-sized beds each, along with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and flat-screen TV. In addition, the resort offers a range of cabins, cottages, and houses. Most of them have one bedroom and sleep four people, but several larger ones have two bedrooms and sleep up to six. Some also come equipped with full kitchens. The property also has an outdoor swimming pool, playground, and fire pit. Winnipesauke Pier is only a five-minute walk away, and Funspot is only a five-minute drive.

It has such an easy walking location to the downtown area, to bad it wasn't up to it's price.
We stayed on the first floor (across the road) near the steps down to the pool, nice location and the pool was very nice BUT....
When we arrived no one came down to welcome us or hand us a key, voice through a speaker telling us where to 'find' the hidden key to our room. Really, is this how it's done? Check-in is a late 4pm
The door to the room was so loose (closed/locked, but still loose) that we put a chair against it. So close to the road and walkway, it just made us a bit nervous.
The bathroom and room were clean - but no light summer blanket just the heavy quilt.
Surprised how early some of the local attractions closed in late August, spent more time in the room than we wanted. Especially with a limited TV, with a summer shower going through ALL service was lost!
Wish I could give it a better ranking, it has possibilities, just to many issues now. Not worth the money or the stay.
So We booked this supposed deluxe condo months ago for a wedding event because it was 2 minutes walk to the Reception site. We had 2 nights and cost was $538. I find this too much for no maid service , no hot water for 2 days and quality of furniture so to me this cost was exorbitant.
Got in very late! Owner is on site so even though closed friendly owner made check in very easy . Had private parking which was nice. Walked in to slight fresh paint smell which to me was welcoming and a sign updates might have just happened. Layout was Two bedrooms , combo living room eating area, full bath, full adequate kitchen and small deck with grill.
Place was clean except couches need cleaning . Furniture except dining table is extremely dated , not in great shape and worn. TVs were newer so that was good. Bed spreads etc need to be updated
There were 3 Window AC which worked ok with ceiling fans in rooms . Nights were in 50s and days were mild so judging AC is not necessarily accurate because of the weather. Beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets if needed.
I don’t know if there were no curtains at the windows because they may have painted but there were no curtains anywhere and just white mini blinds which let the morning bright light in. There was no sleeping past 6:00 AM no matter what time we got to bed. Vertical blind in LR had slats missing . Deck furniture was cheapest quality and I was hesitant to use them so we did not.
Overall I guess if you were going to be there with kids and walk to arcade and beach or pool this would be ok but even then not at this price.
