This is the nicest KOA we’ve visited, and probably one of the nicest RV parks we’ve visited in over 30 years of RVing. The park is beautifully designed and landscaped, well maintained, and has every amenity you could ask for. Sites are large and grassy. We had a crushed stone parking pad and patio with a fire pit with benches as well as a picnic table. The park is set way back from the road, so it’s quiet. We had nice mountain views from our site. About 10 minutes to the entrance to Glacier NP. Friendly and efficient staff. If I had to find a negative, it’s the WIFI. It was slow and we kept getting dropped every 15 minutes or so. Not a biggie if you’re on vacation, but we’re full-timers so it can be important. No T-Mobile signal. Amazing Mediterranean pizza at the Glacier Grille. We also enjoyed the Hungry Horse dam and reservoir. Good Huckleberry pie at the Huckleberry Patch. We booked for 10 days, then stretched our stay to 2 weeks because we were so happy with this RV park. We would definitely stay here again.
We were very impressed with how well kept the grounds, landscaping, cabins, pools and sites are maintained. Beautiful setting. Our cabin was perfect for a family of four with a great outdoor fire pit and bbq area. We were disappointed to not have the on site cafe open yet or family pool. So close to west glacier.
